Incheon (Seoul Airport) April 11th, 2014

Last night we found a very satisfactory restaurant/cafe. The waitress spoke no English, but with the help of another patron we ordered two dishes and were reasonably sure they were not offal. They turned out to be a delicious soup with beef and lots of side dishes including two varieties of pickled cabbage - the famous kimchi and plenty of chillies. The other dish was little pork and egg fritters and a sort of sate dipping sauce.

We have been surprised at how few Caucasian faces we saw in Korea.

Even though there are English labels we were not much wiser.

Individually packaged apples in the super market.

Cherry blossom

Traditional music at the Airport.
Beautifully dressed dolls. The one on the right was $600 so my 5 great nieces will miss out!

I am not usually into 'selfies' but here I am in Incheon Airport

  1. The "English" translations on the menu are fun!

I love the little details, like the apple packaging, that you include in your posts.

  2. Beautiful colours in their dress and I love the little pink cups the apples are sitting in.
